Our orange wine is made from ungrafted Gual vines, planted in small plots in the north-west of Tenerife. Overlooking the ocean, the maritime climate is important in retaining the natural freshness of gual, whilst the bright sunshine helps to develop its characteristic aromas and flavours.
Made in concrete eggs, this is a slightly magical wine. The extended period with the grape-skins takes Gual to a whole new place; rosemary, bay leaves, orchard fruits and incense drift out of the glass. Textured and ever-so-slightly firm on the palate, with an incredibly long finish; an incredibly elegant wine. It truly comes to life when paired with lamb, marinated with Mediterranean herbs.
