Another of Juan Jesus´s discoveries on the island of El Hierro, we´ve since replanted Baboso Negro in the north-west of Tenerife. The vines produce small, delicate clusters that translate into complex, powerful wines.
On the nose, Baboso Negro tends towards well-defined aromas of fresh violets, dark fruits and dark chocolate. Bold and structured with firm tannins, this is a perfect wine to pair with steaks, coq au vin or boeuf bourguignon.
