On November 14th and 15th, Bodegas Viñátigo, represented by Jorge Méndez, participated in the 1st Iberian Vineyard Pruning Congress, held at the prestigious Juvé y Camps and Gramona wineries in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. The event brought together nearly 100 experts and industry professionals to discuss the importance of pruning in winemaking sustainability and explore new strategies to address climate challenges.
The conference, organized by the INNOVI Pruning Academy, combined theoretical presentations with practical workshops on the most advanced pruning techniques. Topics highlighted included vineyard adaptation to climate change, new canopy designs, and innovations in green pruning, all with the goal of ensuring productive viability and grape quality.

Furthermore, the event marked a milestone with the presentation of the "Ágora de Poda" project. This new Iberian initiative seeks to create a collaborative platform to bring together scientists, technicians, and wineries to exchange knowledge, promoting sustainability and innovation in vineyard management.
The participation of Bodegas Viñátigo in this prestigious event highlights its commitment to research and sustainability, as well as its contribution from the vineyards of Tenerife to the development of practices that ensure the future of the wine sector. This is yet another example of its leadership in integrating tradition and innovation in vineyard care and the production of high-quality wines.
